LiveShield delivers DDoS protection through direct packet processing from network interface cards using DPDK technology. By bypassing the operating system layer, the system achieves ultra-low latency, real-time packet inspection, and immediate DDoS mitigation at the network level.
LiveShield is built on a modular architecture consisting of four independent components that can run on separate servers. This design enables seamless scaling of DDoS protection as network traffic grows, making the system well suited for ISP and data center environments.
LiveShield does not require dedicated appliances or proprietary hardware. It runs efficiently on standard x86 servers and widely available DPDK-compatible network cards, allowing cost-effective deployment with predictable infrastructure expenses.
The adaptive AI engine automatically detects traffic anomalies and immediately applies initial filtering rules. The system then dynamically refines packet selection based on real-time traffic analysis, enabling fast and effective mitigation even for complex DDoS attacks.
LiveShield automatically generates and advertises BGP Blackholing and BGP FlowSpec rules to edge routers. This enables precise network-level filtering and optional traffic diversion to internal or external scrubbing centers during a DDoS attack.
Full support for both IPv4 and IPv6 ensures effective DDoS protection in modern network environments. LiveShield secures infrastructure regardless of the addressing model, making it suitable for dual-stack networks and carrier-grade deployments.
